Tour Details

This is an exclusive tour, an unparalleled experience, a dip in one of the wealthiest and most engaging chapters of the history of our time. We will visit 3 of the best-known archaeological areas in Campania: the excavations of Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Wine Tasting. UNESCO recognized Pompeii as a World Heritage Site thanks to the presence of civil and private buildings, monuments, sculptures, paintings, and mosaics of great importance for the history of archeology and antiquity. Visitors entering through one of the ancient gates can cross the remains of ancient roads and admire houses, shops, the Forum, sacred areas, thermal complexes, theaters, amphitheater, monumental tombs, and much more. The wine tour will occur around Vesuvius Volcano, where there is a breathtaking wine yard where they grow particular grapes to make a great wine known as lacrimal de Christi, which means the tears of Christ. This is thanks to the volcanic soil. You can test different types of wine as well as eat authentic Italian food. This additional cost starts at € 32 per person or more, depending on what you choose from the menu.   Includes 4 different wine tastings plus lunch. Sorrento, an enchanting town built on tuff terraces, is a world reference point for tourism in Campania. Known above all for the mildness of its climate and the natural beauty of its small coves and bays located along the coast, Sorrento welcomes millions of tourists each year fascinated by the myth and history of the Land of the Sirens. To visit are the picturesque historical center, the main square dedicated to the famous poet Torquato Tasso, the Sedile Dominova, a 15th-century gallery with its splendid majolica dome and its magnificent frescoes, the Cloister of San Francesco, the Cathedral and the street main shopping area where there are bars, restaurants, pizzerias, souvenir shops, and local craft shops. You can request a certified Campania Region Tourist Guide by contacting us after you have completed your purchase and received your Voucher. Please note that entrance to the Pompeii Archaeological site is not included and costs € 19 per person.
