Tour Details
With this shore excursion from Livorno port, we will visit two pearls of the Tuscany Region: Siena and San Gimignano.
Siena is a medieval charming location in the heart of Tuscany. Visit Siena means leaving for a voyage back in time through monuments, churches, and buildings reminiscent of a golden era.
The main tourist attractions are Mangia’s Tower, the Duomo (Santa Maria Della Scala), the Baptistery, The Crypt, and the “Facciatone,” and Piazza del Campo, a unique “shell-shaped” square considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world.
San Gimignano is a medieval village with enchanting landscapes and artistic and architectural beauties. San Gimignano is famous mainly for its 13 medieval watch Towers in the middle of the village. Still, there are a lot of attractions to visit: the little church of “Collegiata” wholly covered with Frescoes, the Cathedral square, the Torture Museum, the civic Museum, and the Rocca of Montestaffoli, built to defend San Gimignano from Siena's attacks after submission to Florence.
