We will cross some Sicilian villages like Santa Venerina and Zafferana, then we get to the craters Silvestri. The landscape of the big craters is amazing and from it you will can admire the large lava flows creates from past eruptions. On the road we enjoy the great vineyards of Etna and the farms overlooking the coast of Catania.

Using the modern installations of the cable-cars on the slopes of Southern Mt. Etna, we will reach the height of 2,504 meters in only 15 minutes. Here qualified staff take you to the places where the volcanic activity flourishes, completely respecting the laws issued by the authorities which protect the zone.

This tour will include a quick tour of Taormina (1 hr), then we drive back to Messina for the quick sightseeing tour. In Messina we will see a church with bronze statues (King Christ church) and also a viewpoint, that’s one of the oldest fortress in Messina. The last stop of the excursion is the cathedral of Messina with its very particular astronomical clock (the biggest in the world).
