Tour Details

During the catastrophe of 79 AD, Vesuvius buried the entire city of Pompeii. Today's excavations represent one of the main tourist destinations in the Campania region, as they return the image of a Roman city. Pompeii has been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has become a sizeable archaeological park where you can admire the ancient Baths, the Temple of Venus, the Temple of Apollo, a pre-Roman basilica, the civil forum, the heart of the economy, religious and social life of the 'ancient city. And yet the Macellum, the Temple of Jupiter, the Temple of Vespasian, and the Sanctuary of the Public Lares were protectors of the city. Pompeii is also a succession of Pompeian houses, both simple homes and domestic and sacred places simultaneously. Wine tour will occur around Vesuvius Volcano, where there is a breathtaking wine yard where they grow particular grapes to make a great wine known as lacrimal de Christi, which means the tears of Christ. This is thanks to the volcanic soil. You can test different types of wine as well as eat authentic Italian food. This additional cost starts at € 32 per person or more, depending on what you choose from the menu. Includes four different wine tastings plus lunch. ‎ Sorrento, an enchanting town built on tuff terraces, is a world reference point for tourism in Campania. Known above all for the mildness of its climate and the natural beauty of its small coves and bays located along the coast, Sorrento welcomes millions of tourists each year fascinated by the myth and history of the Land of the Sirens. To visit are the picturesque historical center, the main square dedicated to the famous poet Torquato Tasso, the Sedile Dominova, a 15th-century gallery with its splendid majolica dome and its magnificent frescoes, the Cloister of San Francesco, the Cathedral and the street's main shopping area where there are bars, restaurants, pizzerias, souvenir shops, and local craft shops. You can request a certified Campania Region Tourist Guide by contacting us after you have completed your purchase and received your Voucher. Please note that entrance to the Pompeii Archaeological site is not included and costs € 19 per person.
