Riomaggiore looks like a Christmas nativity scene with all its colorful houses built vertically. In Riomaggiore begins the famous via dell’Amore, a path carved into the rock that leads to Manarola. Manarola is the kingdom of olive groves and vines, a characteristic village in which the houses seem to be natural extensions of the narrow and long cliff. Corniglia is the only village in the Cinque Terre almost entirely inaccessible from the sea. It is composed of small alleys, narrow streets in the rock, a beautiful pebble beach, and a transparent and crystal clear sea.
