Cyclops Bay: Catania & Aci Trezza – Excursions from Port

Catania, for its number of inhabitants, is the second largest city in Sicily and it is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. The city is a mix of ancient and modern; the baroque is the dominant element of the city, but is perfectly integrated with the new modern part.

The historic center of the city it’s full of shops, bars, restaurants and typical Sicilian clubs. After visiting Catania, we will move along the Catania coast to the sea side towns of Aci Castello and Aci Trezza, two picturesque coastal villages, famous for fishing.

After a wide tour of the two villages, we move to reach the town of Acireale where it’s possible to admire Duomo Square, the splendid historic buildings and the Baroque churches.
